En 2010 empecé a escribir en una libreta frases que me encontraba y quería conservar.
Decidí guardarlas sin autor@ para no juzgar su origen y darle valor únicamente al contenido.

Aquí comparto algunas de mis favoritas. Las primeras son en Inglés y más abajo otras en Español.

  1. You have to decide who you trust, before you decide what to believe.

  22. If you can't fix it with duct tape or a martini, it ain't worth fixing.

  23. The best way to get approval is not to need it. This is equally true in art and business. And love. And sex. And just about everything else worth having.

  24. Be first, be smarter, or cheat.

  132. There are only so many things humans can say, and therefore they've all been said already.

  136. Beware of unearned wisdom.

  137. Nothingness is filled with everything. Including all of our secrets.

  138. If you work hard enough, you can replace depression with exhaustion.

  139. The idea is to die young as late as possible.

  140. And of course, tomorrow never comes.

  141. Not wanting something is as good as having it.

  142. None of us can choose what our ideas imply.

  143. History doesn't repeat itself, but it rhymes.

  144. We are the universe looking at itself.

  145. Life should be an adventure where permanent discoveries turn us into complete beings.

  146. Life improves the system capacity to sustain life.

  147. It's more important to make your children proud than your parents proud.

  148. Your path is about discovering a truth that is a higher synthesis of what your parents believed.

  149. The modern man thinks that everything's ought to be done for the sake of something else, and never for its own sake.

  153. Do you consider yourself optimistic? Well the alternative sucks.

  156. Why should we worry how the universe works? We don't have to run it anyhow.

  157. The sovereignty of nature has been allotted to the silent forces.

  180. Chaos is another form of organization.

  190. Quitting is not dishonorable. Quitting when you believe you can still succeed is.

  383. Mientras los diarios sigan abriendo con noticias negativas es que la cosa va bien. Porque lo noticiable es la excepción.

  384. No entiendo la vida, pero sigo aquí porque me gusta comer.

  385. No hay ideas originales. Cualquier idea es la suma inevitable de todas las ideas que existieron en el pasado.

  386. Los planes deben tomar en cuenta que todo va a cambiar.

  387. Somos la naturaleza creando nuevas formas.

  388. Toma la decisión de irte en un buen día. No cuando la estés pasando mal.

  389. Amar es dar lo que no se tiene a quien no es.

  390. Acá todo podía suceder. Allá ya había sucedido casi todo. Como si la porción del azar ya se hubiera agotado.

  391. La cercanía causa conflicto.

  392. El universo premia la acción.

  393. Nada tiene que ser difícil. Las cosas se complican cuando buscamos algo que no hay.

  394. El amor es confiar en la casualidad. En la idea de que el mundo puede experimentarse desde el punto de vista de la diferencia.

  395. Así se fija el azar: la absoluta contingencia del encuentro de alguien a quien yo no conocía termina tomando la apariencia de un destino.
